Description

This is a Doll - Betty Co-Ed Drum Majorette - Betty Boop Style Eyes - Vintage Dime Store STILL IN PACKAGE - UNOPENED - from what we believe to be the 1940's or 1950's. Information we have found is that Betty-Coed was a 1930's song recorded by Rudy Vallee, which reached #4 on the charts and there was an animation short comedy released in 1931 called, "Betty Co-Ed." We are unable to find another doll like this ANYWHERE; therefore, it would be considered a VERY Rare Find. She is dressed as a Drum Majorette in a red majorette outfit with white boots and has a red baton banded around her right hand. Her body is plastic, with her head being a soft plastic and the rest of her body a hard plastic. She measures 11" tall. This item is pre-owned, but as mentioned is still in it's original package, unopened.
